An education with connections

Study. Create. Contribute.

AEIS brings English-language instruction, Spanish and French study, college-preparatory coursework, original creative work, and community experience into one school journey. These are connected parts of the program: language supports communication, coursework develops knowledge, and projects ask students to use what they know.

The school serves Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. That range matters when a family considers an entry point. An early-years conversation is different from a high-school transfer conversation; admissions can discuss readiness and placement in the context of the student’s previous experience.

Three ways to look at learning

Beyond a finished answer.

01

Investigate

A question becomes more useful when a student can explain why it matters, what evidence is relevant, and what remains uncertain. The senior research project makes that process explicit through a 15–20 page study grounded in an approved placement.

02

Develop

Creative work changes through revision. The senior arts portfolio includes original pieces, process sketches, revisions, and an artist statement, making development visible alongside the finished work.

03

Reflect

Service is more than attendance. Verified hours, an activity log, and a brief reflection connect a student’s contribution to what they have learned about a community and their role in it.

For your family

Questions that go deeper.

Parents

Ask how your child’s language background, existing coursework, and interests relate to the program. Discuss a specific example of work or a challenge; it gives the school more context than a general request for “the right fit.”

Students

Think about an idea you would like to investigate, an activity you would like to try, or a skill you would like to strengthen. Bring those questions when you talk with admissions or the counselor.
