Our school
Our home in Honduras
Los Andes, San Pedro Sula: the setting for an international education with a local point of view.
Established 1990
A school connected to place.
Albert Einstein International School is a private, coeducational day school in Los Andes, San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras. Founded in 1990, it serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Honduran and international families contribute different experiences to the same school community.
English is the language of instruction, complemented by Spanish and French study. This combination places the school’s international outlook alongside its Honduran setting. The school’s national diploma pathway is the Bachillerato en Ciencias y Humanidades.

Learning in the region
The city becomes a source.
History
A class-linked visit to the Museo de Antropología e Historia can connect a history topic with regional evidence. A useful question for a visit is how an object, exhibit, or account changes the way a subject is understood.
Civics
The Palacio Municipal provides a connection to civic life. Approved municipal placements may also let students observe public service and support suitable supervised work.
Science
Reserva El Merendón connects the science program with the surrounding environment. Field observations can prompt questions that students take back to their studies.
Planning a visit
Start with the school.
Class-linked field trips take place at least monthly, with individual arrangements confirmed by the school. For a prospective-family visit, contact Maya Hernandez before making plans. Ask for the exact meeting point, arrival instructions, and an agreed time; the regional photographs on this website are not a campus map.
