Admissions
Come to know AEIS
Use a visit to connect the information on this website with the questions that matter to your family.
Before you travel
Arrange the conversation first.
Contact Admissions Director Maya Hernandez to ask about current visit arrangements. Include the student’s intended grade, school year, and the questions you would like to discuss. Confirm the appointment, exact location, meeting point, and arrival instructions before travelling.
AEIS is in Los Andes, San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras. The Honduras photographs on the homepage show regional destinations, not campus buildings or a route through the school. Ask admissions for directions appropriate to your confirmed visit.
A family visit guide
Look. Ask. Reflect.
Questions for parents
How will prior coursework and language experience be considered? What should we understand about grade placement? Which documents and costs apply? How can we learn about the activities relevant to our child’s age? Keep your questions specific to your family rather than trying to cover every school program at once.
Questions for students
Which subjects interest me? Where could I try something new? How do students get involved in clubs, teams, creative work, or service? What would I like to understand about moving into a different school community? Bring your own questions, even when a parent has already prepared a list.
After the conversation
Make room to think.
Compare your notes
Ask each family member what became clearer and what they still want to know. Separate an impression from a confirmed detail such as a document requirement or an agreed next step.
Follow up on specifics
Send remaining questions to admissions. If a question concerns high-school coursework, service hours, or an academic record, ask whether the counselor should also be part of the conversation.
Confirm the next action
Before making commitments, check availability, the applicable admissions process, costs, and any dates the school has given your family.
